The mission
Faith comes by hearing.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
We teach slowly, chronologically, one chapter at a time — so anyone can start at the beginning of a book, or step into the series we are in today. The path so far: New Testament → Job → Torah → History of Israel. The aim is simple: open Scripture, see Christ, and hear with faith.

Joshua Ryan Purdy
Pastor at Russellville Christian Church in Saint Stephen, South Carolina. Twenty-five years preaching the gospel — and still just a regular guy opening the Bible, with Christ at the center.
I don’t take myself too seriously — even though I take the Word of God very seriously.
